Overwhelmed with all the “beginning of the school year” tasks?

Feeling overwhelmed with all those “beginning of the school year” tasks, that are there when we start, and there’s just so much to get done?

I understand, I’m right there with you.

But you can take some simple steps to make that a little bit easier.

First, it will get done. But it doesn’t all have to be done right away.

I would invite you to make a list and prioritize it: What are the things that need to be done first?

Also, when you make your list, make a note about which tasks might take longer, which are the more challenging tasks or more time-consuming tasks, and then decide to organize the tasks based on that information in mind.

Here’s a simple way to do that:

Put an easier, quicker task along with a more challenging or time-consuming task on the same day. So you know that you’ll get ONE thing done that’s quick and easy. You can feel like you accomplished something. And then you tackle one of those more time-consuming tasks.

If that bigger task spills over into the next day, it’s all good. It becomes one of your easier tasks the next day because there’s only part of it to complete.

Know that I’m here to support you.

Reach out if you’d like some more tips and have a fantastic day!
